My brother Casey has amazing eyesight.  Years ago he once spotted one of our cats who was missing in the middle of the night in a near pitch-black alley.  He calmly walked up to a house where other cats were and grabbed him.  At the time, we didn’t have kids and our two cats were our kids, so we were very relieved to have him back.

I can only imagine what parents must feel when their kids are missing. I can’t imagine what the Lord must feel as millions upon millions are lost, on their way to hell; He has a huge desire to save them.  He wants to save them so much that He sent His only Son to seek and save them.

The word salvation is found throughout scripture and I suppose when all is said and done, if there is a reason we are still on the earth, it is to join with Jesus and tell others the good news that Christ came to save them.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no man gets to the Father except through Him.

God is still looking, still seeking to save the lost.  He can see just fine in the day and night too.  If He needs help, maybe He’ll call Casey.
